Nikon MF Lenses on Nikon Digital

Anyone using MF lenses on Nikon DSLRs? What's your experience in terms of focus accuracy, and do you have pictures to share?

This was shot on my Nikon 135 f2.8 AI lens on the D7000 long time ago. I still have this lens that I use on my D3 and D700.

Focusing can be a bit tricky when I used them on my old film cameras they had a split image screen which helped a lot.
The wide angles are fine but the longer lenses can be a bit tricky wide open especially the faster glass. I will post up some pictures later when I have access to my PC.

I have a selection of pre AI Nikkor lenses which I sometimes use on a D3200 (although I prefer them on a Nikon F). I also have a Helios 4 which I converted to Nikon mount. I have no problem focusing these.

Also, I recently found an adaptor which allows me to use an old 500mm lens which I inherited from my father on the D3200. It's a bit long with a cropped sensor though. It's more like a telescope!

These old nikon lens is great, cheap now because is manual focus but quality optic. I use it for video stuff where auto focus is completely useless for my purpose. I even bought a m43 to nikon adapter to use these lens on my lumix camera.
