no, i'm not switching but...I have nice collection of Canon FD lens - up for Sale - but I'm hesitating now

is it possible to use these Canon FD lens on ANY model of Digital Canon body

I asked this before - and Scarecrow said............

an adapter so that a Canon FD lens will fit on an EOS camera.
and sent some shots using an FD on his Canon 40D - not bad !!

ok - looked at ffordes "used Canon" and the EOS list is LONG with all manner of model numbers

1..is there a site anywhere i can compare EOS models....?
2..can anyone specify which EOS body will work....?

thanks

The issue with the FD lenses is the flange -sensor distance. No DSLR can use them without an adapter with a lens in it that would also degrade the quality.

You can get any of the microfourthirds cameras and use the FD lenses with an adapter (this is plain, no lens as the absence of the mirror in mFT cameras allows you to use the old FD lenses).
