Nikon PD-K1 D300 grip in the UK?

I'm considering the D300 (MB-D10) grip but would ultimately like the PD-K1 kit, the trouble is the only place I can source it in the UK is Amazon and it's £485!
Buying from Germany, Holland etc, it's only €370.

Does anyone know where I can source one in the UK?

I was on the phone to the NPS the other day, and the rep mentioned something about these not being available in the UK. So the likely thing is that any you have seen are merely being imported from maniland Europe.
 
It's strange them not being available in the UK. I'll look into the Phottix conversion but would really prefer genuine Nikon if I could.
I'll perhaps look into importing from NL or Germany unless anyone has a business trip coming up :D
 
Well, I'm gonna be near Munich/Innsbruck for the next few months, but not back until April. Maybe I should bring a whole load back and sell for massive profit (or die and expensive euro death).
 
I posted a review and some pics of the Phottix conversion. Since the review I've had a chance to evaluate it a bit more and it seems to work fine :)
