Nikon repair dept

I anyone had dealings with Nikon repairs, had delivery today of a D80 with err message, and they have advised I send to them, but can't advise on how much will cost me

Should be able to get a quote before any work is carried out ... but if you've only just taken delivery of it why are you not taking this up with the seller?

agreed, Nikon will check it out and quote for repair, but if it only arrived this morning, get straight onto the seller.

try cleaning all contacts first, on camera & the lens you are using...if this don't work, then its probable not worth repairing, I know it sounds harsh, but the price of a new camera these days , to that speck of the D80, is not worth it being repaired...mark
