nikon sb 700 flash and batteries

Just recently bought this flash but the battery compartment seems to be ever so tight fit for the batteries ie i find it difficult to take the batteries out once they are inserted especially the negative up compartments. anyone else having the same problem and found any quick solutions?

I've had mine a few weeks and don't have any issues, is it the actual batteries or the door cover? I came across this when searching reviews http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GRRZ5kdmd_I

Sorry for not replying.
It turned out that the extreme batteries were very slightly larger than the enelop batteries I've recently purchased and these new one fit so all ok .
