Yes
One of my lenses has developed a problem and I need to send it away to be repaired, anyone know how long it usually takes to get the lens back?

If it goes to Fixation, it should be returned within 5-7 working days

cheers

Darren

Nikon told me 2-4 weeks for estimated time.
Fixation said they should be able to turn it around in a week all going well.
Thats who im going too.

Is it under warranty with Nikon? If so I think you should send it there. Turn around for me was about 10 days - and I got a loan lens while they had mine

Yeah, it's under warranty. A week or so sounds pretty good, how did you get the loan lens from them?

Phoned them up. Told them I was a Nikon Pro user and that my lens was vital for my work. They told me it was tough and they didn't do loan lenses. So I persevered with it for another week. Then decided it HAD to go back so I phoned them again. This time the guy I spoke to (a different one) offered me a loan lens before I even had chance to ask!!

I suggest you tell them the lens is something you can't be without and that you'll need a loan lens while yours is being fixed. Might work. What lens is it??

HTH

Cheers for the quick reply.

I could actually do with a loan lens if it's possible as it's the main lens that I use. It's my 24-70mm. Is it only people on NPS that will get it? I'll give them a ring in the morning and see what I can do.
