Nikon to leica

Was going to put this in the equipment section but thought more people would know here.
Is it possible to get an adapter for either Nikon Afd or Contax/Yashica to mount on a leica R 3 cam or Rom? Thanks.

As Nikon Manual and AFD lens share the same mount then looking at the link above I think you can.

BUT CHECK DON'T JUST TAKE MY WORD FOR IT.

In theory you could mount a Nikon F mount lens on the Leica R mount with an adapter but theres only 0.5mm difference in the flange focal distance of the two so in reality not enough space to fit an adapter.

You might have better luck with C/Y mount lenses though as theres a 2mm difference between the two so there may be sufficient space for an adapter.
