Nikon tripod foot.

I am looking for a tripod foot for my 400mm f2.8 VR. The ones it came with are ok but I'm looking for a lower profile alternative to the big L shaped that I currently use. Looking for a UK stockist of such things please.

Start with a Kirk replacement foot but there are many others that are cheaper.

Recently received the Wimberley one for the 600mm and it's a lot better with it being both lower and with a built in Arca Swiss plate. Believe it also fits the 400mm's too.

Maybe a touch expensive at £79 from WEX but I had a £50 voucher to spend which helped!

I have used Wimberley ones for all of my big lenses, over the years. Expensive, but good. I too have one on my 600mm.

I've had this one on mine for the last two years. Quite happy with it and it's a bargain.
