Nikon video DSLR what lens have you used?

i use mostly nikon 35mm f2 and 50mm f1.4 g for video.

but i am feeling restricted the 70-200 is maybe to long

what have you used nikon wise in particular zooms [only interested in Nikon as that's all i will use]?
 
I have used in the past the 35 f1.8 g, 50 mm f1.8 AF-S and the 85mm f1.8. The 85 fmm gave by far the best image quality but was just far too long for most stuff - especially since most videos were done indoors I think the 35mm gave me about the best balance of IQ and usability, and was the quickest/quietest to refocus during shooting.

Can't remember if I used the 18-105 or 18-55 kit lenses as I never really liked the image quality (so I couldn't tell you what happens when you zoom during recording sorry).
 
bands at night mostly i was wondering about the 24-70 or the 28-120
