My Z6 Kit was UK
Can I ask where? I'm gathering information ahead of a possible overhaul
My Z6 Kit was UK
XQD cards are crazy expansive, BUT if you compare them to equivalent speed SD cards then the SD cards are equally crazy expensive. I bought one of the slower 128gb Sony M series (440mb/s read 150mb/s write) for around £130 last year from Photospecialist. Unfortunately they only have the uber expensive G series on their site at the mo)Just reading up on this, and see the cards are XQD. A quick look seems to see them priced at £130 for a 32GB! Is that right? or is there an alternative?
I would have though CFExpress are equally as expensive on launch tbh.PROAV seem to have Sony 32Gb XQD cards for £78... that's just with a quick look, better offers may be out there. Also, CFExpress will be compatible at some point.
I was pleasantly surprised to have a 64Gb Sony XQD card bundled in with my Z6/24-70/FTZ kit too... I didn't realise they were including that.
There’s a video on YouTube complaining about that. Can’t remember who posted it thoughI've just discovered that the FTZ adapter won't fit on the Z6 with my tripod quick release plate fitted... sigh

Same here!Pondered myself, decided I can’t see the future and I wanted it. Ordered from Panamoz. In my hands within 3 days.
What are people using for a wide prime lens, if any? I'd want something around 24-27mm f1.4. Is there a Sigma/Nikon equivalent that can be used with the adapter without losing AF or IQ?
How about Sigma 24mm ART
Good shout, I missed that. Any experience with it?

Everything Z6/Z7 is crazy expensive! Priced me well out of the system TBH!
Maybe is the likes of Samyang etc start making some lenses it might be more appealing but the price of these 1.8 and f4 lenses are too much for me.
I hate to think what the 70-200 will cost.
In a way I hope the D760 rumors are true.
wonder how a hard Brexit might affect the price of Photo equipment (including Grey imports from Chain / Hong Kong). Just wondering if sooner or later might be the time to spring for a Z6 if I'm really decided on getting one ?
70-300 AF-P (FX) is another option.

I have the AF-P 70-300mm - it's a really good piece of kit.
I have the AF-P 70-300mm and whilst it's a very good lens for the money I paid during the cash back deal, it has got the worst vignetting I have ever seen. I's blatantly obvious in the viewfinder let alone reviewing the image afterwards. Obviously it's a easy fix in post, but it's just surprising that a modern lens can be that bad, especially when the predecessor didn't really suffer at all.70-300 AF-P (FX) is another option.

I have a 50mm 1.4 AF-S up for sale if you want to go that route. It's not a focal length I use much. I'm more 35/85.

I retract my earlier criticism, I've only just realised that you can fit the release plate to the FTZ adapter itself... DOH! Still a bit of a faff to change between Z lenses and F lenses while using a tripod though. I've ordered the 3 legged thing L-Bracket which should be easier.
Yes... the bright orange one!Is that the new Zelda ?
Yes... the bright orange one!
No Nikon stuff listed on the Panamoz site at present.
That’s saved me a ton of money, was potentially looking at the Z6.
Yeah, sounds like you did! Haven’t read about it anywhere, so must be in the last day or so they’ve pulled everything from their website. That’s a shame. Got mine just in time.
Very odd, I hope they honour warranty on Nikon stuff purchased prior to this. What’s going on there then? Any idea why they have pulled ALL their Nikon stuff?!

Yes, been no Nikon there for several months.Didn’t HDEW do the same a while ago ?
