Nikons with AF motor in body

I'm toying with the idea of buying my friend a Nikon body. She can borrow some of my gear or I could buy her some cheap D lenses.

So, what's the "cheapest" Nikon with AF motor in body?

Any suggestions would be great

Cheapest is probably a D100, D70, D50 or D1. I'd have thought all are pretty much in the same sort of price band, maybe sub £150. The D80 and D200 are worth looking at too but a bit more money.

Budget may be stretched to £250 ish. used is fine.

Id go straight in at D200 if the budget will allow.
Still a cracking camera and built like a rock.

Ok. So it's a toss up between D70/80 and D200. Hmmm.

D200 if it's an option. D80 a nice compromise. The D70 is a nice camera still but you shouldn't need to pay much over £100 for one. I hope she's worth it

Haha. Just a friend. We clash too much for more. She's an arty type and hoping she can inspire me to be more creative. Selfish reasons!
