Nimar Underwater housing

I've been looking into underwater housings for a D80. I notice these seem to be well received in the US but even though theres a UK distributor there is not a lot of info out there. Has anybody ever used one?

I've only ever used compacts underwater. Might be worth asking on the dive forums if you haven't already. I can't say i've ever seen a diver with an SLR housing, only ever compacts but i've only done around 60 dives (which i'm hoping to double by the end of the year).

I have seen two, one on a Nikon D300 the other on a D200. They are quite big and quite expensive, near a grand I was told. they look good though and do the job they are designed for. That's all I know, not much is it.

thank you, its alot more then I've been able to find out, they are expensive, but dSLR housings of all brands tend to be in the grand to grand and a half range.
