Critique Nine Inch Nails

I was lucky enough to photograph NIN in Cardiff a few nights ago. Here's a few snaps that I was happy with.

Tiegan I don't know much about this type of photography but I know I like this set when I saw it - atmospheric & gritty so good captures

I've got to agree with John it's a great set of images IMO, although again like John I've no experience of this type of subject.

I saw them in Birmingham, great show. These images represent the dark, atmospheric approach that they have to their shows. Great job And I'm insanely jealous.

Wow - for so many reasons (I love NIN and I love these photos).

For me, the first looks like it could be a studio/staged shot - which is bloomin' impressive given you shot it at a gig where you had no control over the lighting? Just a thought - how would really tightening the contrast curve work so you get an almost monotone (but still in colour) look?

For me though, #4 is just superb - the dynamic range and likely movement of the crowd can't have been easy to cater for but your shot has grabbed it perfectly. In fact, the ISO noise just adds to the feel of it. Awesome!
