Hi, I have a d3100 and the aforementioned flash, I recently bought a ttl cord but it doesn't work. Now having a look around it seems that a few people are having the same problem. Has anyone here got one of these flashes working through a cord? I've seen a nissin one that presumably should work but its £40, I was hoping not to spend that much.

Yeah, I have the Pixel 3m cord, works just fine with both of my flashes (di622mk2 and yn-467) in TTL mode.

The only thing I can think of is if it's a problem with the d3100 (either a natural limitation of the design, a firmware issue, or something specific to your particular camera).

Do you have access to any other TTL flash you could try it with? Maybe a local store that can help?

Assuming the di622 works on-camera in TTL, I don't really see why it shouldn't work via a cable (unless the voltages on the hotshoe ttl connectors is very borderline - there shouldn't be enough voltage drop over the cable to make that much difference), and mine certainly works on my d200 via the cable.
