Nissin flash for canon, Any good?

Hi guys
looking for a new flash for my 7D and seen the nissins are a good bit cheaper than canon ones
Anyone had experience of them or am i better off biting the bullet and getting a 430 ex?

The Di866 has a plastic foot and you need to program it on flash rather than on camera for CFn's and TTL triggering, but if you can live with that (and I can) it is every bit as good as the 580EXII for the price of the 430.

I ended up with a Di622 as part of a job lot of stuff I bought of someone. I wouldnt say it has heavy usage, but it seems pretty consistent and its never let me down. I've never had 430/580 though, so I dont really have anything to compare it to.
