Found this dead aphid on the underside of a leaf. It appears to be attached to some sort of fungal growth, though whether the brown blob underneath the body appeared after death, I have no idea.
Anyway, as you can see, the body of the aphid is now just a shell of its former self. Indeed the only colours left are in the eye and some irredesence in the wings. The OoF on the antennae is caused by having to use f/10 with 3 extension tubes, a lot of light lost even with the ringflash employed, and kept the aperture there to avoid deffraction.
