No Photographers For Olympics

The creatives asked to create a poster for the 2012 British Olympics and Paralympics encompass every kind of artist, from those who use elephant dung to those who make beds. An incredibly eclectic mix excpet for one glaring exception – no photographers!!

A blog called IMSO has also started a Facebook Group called 'Photography for Olympic Posters' for anyone to post/recommend photographers that would be perfect to submit. So share away and lets get a photography on an Olympic 2012 poster!

Too true but thats typical of the olympics - it cost them £16k to come up with two teletubbie type things to be the mascots, it cost £50k plus to design the pink squiggle (looks like a 5 year old did it) logo, and now this ( and lets not even start of the cultural olympiad sculpture trail)

Personally i think the whole olympics is about £20bn that could be better spent
