Cheers Neil. l like my flash shots on the dark side as l really hate blown areas in photos so always underexpose, that's just me l guess.

I underexpose too, for the same reason, but after doing this I think you need to make some adjustments in post processing to get the best from the images. In this case I think these are excellent captures but could be made into even more compelling images (to my eye anyway, although there are obviously taste issues involved) with some adjustments, including raising the brightness by over a stop.
