Hi All,

Really enjoying the site, Can anyone point me the right direction for Camera stuff like you see on ebay. Like the screw in 52mm filters for 2x, canon eos1000d battery grips filters etc, but are in the uk or chine and accept credit card, cant seem to get my card to work with pay-pal??

register your debit card with paypal...then you can do cash purchases

i dont have a real recollection of paypal versus card only sites
most stuff i buy on ebay is paypal
but stuff i buy from internet sites...like say jessops or others you get googling usually will take credit card

paypal is handy to have but apart from ebay i havent really had to use it for any purchases

strange paypal wont accept your cards though....

where abouts in penzance are you?

It says its already registered, have called Paypal but all they say is change your card, its not that easy!!

I am having a nightmare with Paypal also. Tried to set up Paypal account, and followed their instructions, and a week and a half later I am unable to use it for the purchases I wish to make. They have clearly got plenty of customers due to the ebay situation, but if they were an ordinary bank, I could not see them lasting two minutes:thumbsdown:

Could always buy a pre-paid Credit Card, not only can you limit the funds you spend but if you were to have any issues with people getting hold of the CC Number they wouldn';t be able to nick much of it :)

Think most post office type shops have them with no minimum, not something I've really looked into myself tbf but aware they are there..,

Just thinking of alternatives :)
