hi all,

just got a samsung nx10 for my birthday and wanting to try some macro photography but being a fairly broke student im having to find ways to do it on the cheap :(

first i tried to find some nx mount extension tubes but these seem to be either extremely rare or no-one makes them :(

but just watched a youtube vid (link) about how you can use M42 lenses/tubes for cheap macro.

so was thinking i could get an nx mount to m42 adaptor (specifically this one), some extension tubes (maybe these) and a lens (link).

thoughts?

tia,

Yes, pop a Raynox DCR-150 (pretty close) or 250 (very close) on the front. £40 Amazon.

so would a dcr 150, 250 or some macro filters be best? tia

Yes, they're the same thing. Except that the Raynox is a relatively high quality coated triplet design, unlike those (frankly rather nasty) ebay things.

If your budget is £40, there's nothing to touch it.
