Noob needs flash extension cord.

Hi everyone.

I need one of those extension leads which allows me to use my flash away from the body.

Can anyone tell me what is the right name for it??
It's for my canon 400D to go on the 430EX speedlite (I think thats the name of it)

was there someone on here that was trusted and selling these?

If not then can someone tell me where is the best place to get one from?

The cheapest way is to use a PC Sync cord but the 430EX doesn't have a PC port.
The option left for a wired link is a Canon OC-E3 cable....gives you full E-TTL operation just as if the flash was on the hotshoe.

It may be more useful, and not much more expensive to get some kind of remote rigger for the flashgun, though unless you get an expensive one you lose Ettl.
 
Google..... flash cord canon.

Plenty on Amazon, ebay even Jessops but there is no way I would buy the proper Canon OC-E3 one at the price it is.

The person selling on here is Flash in the pan. Top bloke, a lot xcheaper than genuine OEM cords.
