Took a first time trip to North cave wetlands in East Yorkshire a couple of weeks ago. I must admit that I was astounded by the diversity of bird species there. I only managed to get to 2 hides and around the feeders but all were full of all types of birds with a few first time sightings such as the brambling and I've never seen so many greenfinches in my life. I apologise on the quality of the pictures some were taken by the other half but more to show the abundance, it's definitely worth a visit if your in the area.
