Hey all,

This is the first shot that i am happy with from my D40X which i got for my b'day a few weeks ago.
It was taken at Windsor Great Park and is my first foray into landscapes. Just like to know what you think of it. Please be honest i have broad shoulders and as i have been taking photos for less than a year i am hungry for pointers...thanks for looking...:)

I like it, the composition is very good. It may just be my monitor but the sky seems too blue, or the wrong shade of blue. Especially when you compare it to the grass which is a little less saturated.

All in all though, I think its great (y)
 
I like this think it could do with a little bit more space above and to the right of the tree. I really like Windsor there are lots of great trees to be snapped there.

I was like yourself unlucky with the sky on the day I went and did not have many clouds to ad some interest. Must visit again when the weathers worse;)
 
i like it!
love the simplicity of the composition
although would be interesting to see it from much lower angle
