Hi does any one know When the best time to catch the northern lights in Scotland

Last week was good, I saw a few pics of them on here, not sure if theres any more and when they are forecast

There isn't a good or bad time to see them, it all depends on solar activity which as far as I know isn't easily predictable. Obviously in winter you will have more of a chance due to it being dark for longer.

Do a google search for "aurora watch" and "space weather" these site might help you somewhat.

If you follow/like/whatever Aurorawatch on Facebook you'll get an alert when they predict a visible Aurora.
