Not really glamor, but my first model shoot

Ok, this is the first time I have ever gotten together with a model just to shoot pics. I have done portraits, parties, and events but never one on one with a model on location or in a studio.

The good: I learned a lot, had a really good time, learned that planning shots ahead of time really helps when you get to the location. The model was a blast to work with and made it easy.

The bad: I was on my own, really bright sun, no way to use a reflector and my fill flash technique is non-existant!

Anyway, feel free to tear them apart

Very nice preacher... I think you have done an excellent job..

really like all the images in the post.. apart from the intentional flare on the wrist strap I can see no blown highlights.... I think you did a good job with out reflectors or fill and being one your own as well.

Big thumbs up from me..

they're all nice shots, not too fond of the pose on the railway tracks though

Thanks to both of you. I really enjoyed today and I have 3 more ladies wanting shots taken so am looking forward to the next!

There was a whole set of her laying on the tracks, but I like that one best. When I get the rest processed, I'll post a couple more, maybe you'll like one of them ;) :D

Here you go, a couple more of the train tracks
