Not so happy Xmas!

Came across this scene this morning ... recovery in process to get this car off of the Harbourside Railway tracks!
Spoke to the guy standing nearby, who explained that his girlfriend had managed to drive it there, must have been quite a moment.

Ah, the dreaded Tom Tom manoeuvre :)

You think some things are barely possible, then you put your girlfriend behind the wheel....... :p

The only way to keep a Landy on the straight and narrow!

Not fair :)

My father used to travel hundreds of miles into the bush with two drums of petrol, a very heavy Petter generating set and a couple of 19" rack Motorola radio telephones in the back, and never had a minutes problem.

And tell me what other vehicle comes with a factory built in beer bottle opener ? :)

Reminds me of this….

Gallipoli Porto Station, Puglia - 14 Sep 2012

The stop was opened on 1 Nov 1885, and continued its operation until 1996.
On 31 Mar 2013 the stretch of line and the stop was reopened for tourism purposes. Its reopening for tourism purposes was particularly complex, especially due to the dangerous level crossing without barriers, which required the presence of the traffic police to ensure the safe movement of trains.
