I like them all, differently but agree that #1 is outstanding
Thanks for your kind words Tina, whilst not wanting to sound as if I dont appreciate peoples comments, I have a long way to go before getting an outstanding shot ;)
Great set,

How you getting so close with only 200mm?

I use the 50D and the Canon 70-300 IS USM.

Mick

Why thank you kind sir :D Have to agree they do look better. I assume it is because the same colour profile is being used throughout Trev, but then what do I know  Out of interest I posted this up, so whilst we are on the subject I wonder if you or anybody can comment?

Good set Rich but the Blackbird is a lovely capture.

Rich,

What do mean by colour profile? Are you setting this in the camera?

I see your camera is set to sRGB as mine is.

Mick

Apologies Mick, what I should have said was monitor profile as I have just calibrated the monitor :D
So now that profile is loaded up when the computer is switched on, and it is also loaded into Photoshop. I was having a few problems before. I have always used Canon`s DPP software for converting RAW and then I would edit the Jpegs in Photoshop, but what I was seeing in DPP was looking odd in photoshop

Nice set Rich, really liking the Blackbird good detail.

Thanks lammie, I just wish it was as well groomed as Tom`s BB`s :( This one looks like it has spent a night in the hedge
