That looks very impractical ....

I don't see it being released.

Looks like a school project. Now if they want to design something why not do away with the camera altogether and have all the controls on the lens and we can call them telescopes. ;)

:baby:

YUCK !!! sorry but the DSLR is the same as they older cameras which is because it WORKS damit !!!! I saw aHasselblad thingy that looked like an older type with and I kid you not Camo covering I almost fainted that people would spend that much money on something so chav .... seriously ..... dear god

*steps off soapbox*

Looks more like something you'd buy in Anne Summers than in Jessops.

The b*stard child of a play station controller and a Canon

Looks pretty unstable to hold, especially if you have a big lens.

Was gonna start a thread on this but found this one! I think it looks quite funky, but has some impractical nuiscances. Like not being terribly stable etc. BUT, 1 major advantage it has is that it's the first DSLR that I'm aware of which allows for left handedness. Plus, it's much better for 1 handed shooting. Take a look at this link which has a couple of extra photos on it:

as an idea thats right up there with the chocolate tea pot! :D

Yeah, I'm still undecided. But I won't lie, it's kind of growing on me. I might hold back on commenting on how it handles etc until I see one in the flesh. But from a glance the biggest disadvantage I can see with it so far is I can't see how it will work with all the current day tripods. In fact, I can't see at all how it will work with tripods . Although I'd be pretty sure they've thought of that and there's a perfectly logical solution
