Nowhere near as close up as most of your shots...

...but I was quite pleased with this shot today in my garden, just taken with my kit lens and a +10 macro filter, then cropped.

S/he posed for ages for me, although it was tricky to concentrate while singing songs for my toddler to bounce on her trampoline to, and being dribbled on by my 6 month old too

Thanks! I was pleased with how clear his/her legs were, and the light on the eyes. Makes me want a macro lens even more though!
