NPS Service

All my gear is going to Nikon down in Richmond tomorrow, partly for a service before the World Rally Championship and partly to get my 24-70 looked at.

I know they turn around in 3 days for NPS members but wondering how much I'm probably looking at for a service on the 17-35, 70-200 VRII and D3? Has anyone else had items serviced (not requiring any parts) and care to share the costs of service?

I know they'll confirm costs before carrying out any work but I'm impatient and want to have a better idea at the costs I'm looking at (so I can move some money around).

I'd be interested to know what level of servicing they could do to a D3 without any parts being required, at the very least I'd have thought you'd be looking at a near full set of grip rubbers.....

The camera is perfect, I just want it looking over and sensor clean before the WRC and move out of the country. Last thing I want is to move to Dubai in november and find something wrong (the Nikon service in the Middle East leaves a little to be desired).

I know Johnstone's (the Nikon service centre up here) do an inspection foc, so if it's just that and a sensor clean those nice people at Nikon might do it for free
