The best part of NX 2 View is that it's free. Is it better that NX view, well I'm not so sure. It seems that Nikon have decided that, in an effort to gain more of a foothold in the file hosting world, to do away with one of "Views" most useful features, which is the e-mail funtion. You can no longer output straight to e-mail which for me is a retrograde step. Why can't Nikon make their programs a joy to use instead of a hindrance. I won't be using picturetown and there is less of an attraction now in using NX2 view. Good work Nikon:clap::thumbsdown:

I do :D

I use Nikon Transfer, View NX2 & Capture NX2 on Vista 32 bit & W7 64 bit.
I had a problem with Capture NX2 once with crashing, I ended up re-installing it and it worked OK until I viewed a certain folder when it crashed.
I removed the latest pictures that I had put into that folder and Capture NX2 ran OK again.

The only problem I have is that there is no NEF codec for W7 64 bit so my wife cannot use Windows Photo Gallery to view the pics.

As for View NX2 not having an e-mail function, I do not use Windows Mail anyway. The fact that it applies all the in camera settings to NEF files and allows you to modify them is more important to me.
