Taken last Saturday during the NYMR's (North Yorkshire Moors Railway) 40th Anniversary Gala.

I always struggle to get a shot i am happy with from that location, I quite like your shot but wonder if it would look better with the train further into the frame or zooming in further to get the loco in the same position bursting under the bridge but bigger in the frame.

I like this, nice lead in along the track and a great location under the bridge

Lovely shot, although I too wonder what it may have looked out zoomed out a bit with the loco at the point the curve is straight. Still love it

I dont mind the compostion but it seems to lack contrast , overexposed and the exhaust is burned out to the lighter areas, which being honest is a bit of a nightmare to hold back when its overcast.
