The best of a large bunch taken during the middle weekend of the NYMR spring gala, unfortunately they had lots of problems with loco failures so there is not as much variety in these as there should be.

There some terrific shots here,but some colours look a bit weird,and de saturated.
Compositions and angles are bang on,but they are spoiled by some funny exposures and processing imho.
6 the pick.

Thanks for the comments, there was no deliberate desaturation. Will have a look at my processing. Was exposing to make sure I didn't blow the highlights and so have had to selectively brighten up the trains, that was until I twigged I could use an ND grad for trains as well as landscapes!
 
A lovely set of shots. Should be up at the railway late July. Aiming to do the trip in to Whitby.
 
Compositionally (is that a word?) 6 is a classic.
