A couple of years ago there was a discussion of hand warmers, several recommended the above.
I bought a pair and found them very good, got them out recently to get the ready for the cold weather and found them to be getting quite warm.
Checked online and found this

I never got any notification from Amazon or anyone else, so thought I would warn anyone else who has bought them
Have emailed ocoopa today as the request so will see what happens next

Thanks for the heads up, Ingrid.

We have a couple of pairs of these and while they're very good (or were last year!), the chance of them catching fire in a pocket doesn't sound good.

I really like mine so will replace them regardless, just would have been nice if Amazon or Ocoopa hade notified people

We use(d) them on the bike and out on the g*lf course. IF one starts overheating on the course, I could shuck the fleece off PDQ but getting at one under a few layers of bike kit would be rather slower!

We both have heated grips and waistcoats for the bike, so I might just keep our handwarmers for g*lf - unless Amazon or Ocoopa get in touch offering a refund.

The affected models are models UT3053, UT3056, ZLS-118, ZLS-118S, ZLS-118D, H01 and H01(PD.) others should be ok.
Had a reply to say they will look into it ASAP

I’ve had a reply.

“ Rest assured that your product is not included in the current OCOOPA product recall. No further action is required on your part, and you may continue using your product as intended.“

My hand warmer items are exactly among those listed.!!!

That's not the reply I got and mine are on the list too.
Mine said they are dealing with claims in order of receipt
I did send the require photos so perhaps it's the batch number that is affected

Oops. Forgot to attach my photos.
Will send again.

Not sure I should have sent them, it did say they would ask for them, but if they do decide that mine are ok too they now have "recalled" on them !! I sent a copy of the original amazon nvoice too

They do seem, to get uncomfortably hot and I'm not sure that even if they say they are ok I would want to continue using fhem, for what they cost I wouldn't wamt to risk it
