Odd 7D problem.

I was out shooting today with my 7D and after a while noticed that the blinkies were going daft. A quick check revealed that +1.3EV was selected. I had checked this before I started and it was 0. Looking at the exif it had increased 1/3 at a time every few pictures.

I set it to 0 and carried on. When I checked later it had done the same again.

I suspect this is actually me pressing something accidentally.

Anyone else had similar or can think what I might be doing?

Disable the thumb wheel on the back, it's all too easy to catch it with your thumb and move the exposure setting.

Thanks for the reply CT. I have just checked and the thumbwheel does change the EV in the viewfinder, but only on the Q screen when you take a picture. That is why I did not spot it.

I did the same for about half a dozen shots on my first time out shooting. Not sure if locking the wheel helps, I ended up disabling it though.

The lock switch does stop it happening. I checked.
