Off camera flash/Home Studio Setup

Very much a newbie question, but I'm struggling to understand this.

I'll eventually have saved up enough to purchase a dedicated flash for my D200 (either and SB-600 or SB-800) but until then I have two older flashguns sitting at home doing nothing.

My question is, if I buy something like this radio wireless flash trigger set can I connect up the two flashguns I have and set them to manual and start using them as "off camera" flash?

If it's not that simple, can someone point me in the right direction please.
 
Yes, it is that simple.
BUT check the trigger voltages of the flash guns. Old models may pass too much power through the trigger and fry it.
You'll also need triggers to fit the brand/fitting on your flashes (Nikon/Canon fit etc.)

I know one of them is a Sunpak, but can't remember the make of the other (think it's a Minolta but not sure).

Glad to know I'm on the right lines though, just need to find the right equipment.

Any suggestions that won't break the bank would be very welcome.
