Offline storage combined with hard drives

Following on from this thread, very useful reading for a newbie.....What are the options and costs of offline storage please?

Do you mean online storage? If so I've been using Mozy for the last two years and any time I've test restored a file it's been there.

Ditto Carbonite. It's about $50 p.a. I think, for unlimited storage, but has the disadvantage of not being able to back-up external hard drives
