Oggie welcome to the forum and the 52 challenge.
Your photograph as you said is out of focus and a question if I may? Why not have another go at this and see if you can nail the focus and post that image instead?
I hope this isn't too harsh but it seems to be an easy correction.

I like the idea. You need to get the ends of both bookmark/ribbons in the frame too

Again agree with the focus issue and I would have another go at taking the picture but a nice take of the theme, enjoy your 52 and I will be looking forward to more

An interesting take on the theme... I'm not convinced it's a focus issue (although there may be some of that too)... if you look closely at the letters, they all have almost a drop shadow effect on them (towards upper right)... I'm gonna say, that due to the low light, and probably hand held, that you've got some camera shake...
