OK so this is real simple advice I give, but bloody hell how did I make this mistake!! With all the hard drive swapping and changing I do, PLEASE remember....




...to make your backup HDD bigger than your source!!! :bang: :bang: :bonk: Not good doing a backup and it runs out of space :thumbsdown:

I've done something similar. Splitting a 4tb Raid array to add more disks is a real headache. I've got loads of spare 400gb HDDs so I usually spend the night filling one up, and swapping it for the next one
