i have askd before ..

i am a muppet and have delted some files hubby's HDD please please please cn you help me get them back.. .. 20 years i have been married not gonna make it till 21 at this rate...

First, is it possible the files are still in the Recycle Bin? If so, just restore them.

If the RB has been emptied then Google for Recuva and download it.

I haven't used it myself but it get lots of recommendations.

All the best in getting the files back.

What ^ he said Terri. When you delete files they go to the recycle bin which should be on your desktop. A simple job of restoring them.

And then please make a backup afterwards.

One thing I want to know is how someone can accidentally delete a file when the middle of the screen is filled with a "yes/no" prompt.
