I have got to the stage where I think I will finally be happy with my choice of lenses without having to spend anymore money for a long time (oh ok, a 17-55 IS f/2.8 is still being considering as well).

Those who have met me and know I have been a moany old git about focal length for some time will hopefully now be able to release a sigh of relief and start talking to me again :)

Who wouldn't be happy? U own one of the finest zoom lens that canon can offer. Happy for u!

*wish I own one too..sigh*
 
Ive been using one of those for the last 12 months its a great lens. I know I can go out with my 24-105 and 100 - 400 and have a massive range without other lenses.

We have the same lenses except I use a 50D and I also have a Canon 10-22.
It's that lens that stops me from going full frame because I like it so much.
I've noticed a recent surge in more interest in the 24-105 and who can blame people, it's a cracking lens and ideal for cropped and full frame imho.

This coming June I have been into photography for three years and it's taken a Tamron 70-300, Canon 50-250, Tamron 18-270 and a Canon 70-200L for me to finally settle for the 100-400L.
You will get there but don't make the mistake of buying / selling lenses only to loose out on money like I did.

I'm still craving for more focal lengths since being in the full frame world is limiting me from having such range. The lenses u own is incredibly good. Yeah u should give a good pat on the back on your bank account. :D

I got one a couple of weeks ago... Lovely...

We should do another Bushy Park meet or similar :-)
