A member of my Club came in last Friday and said " I have an old camera for you " and produced a Plastic Bag inside was a very dusty SIGMA SA-300 film camera with a SIGMA ZOOM 28-200mm f3.8-5.6 --when I looked through the viewfinder everything looked 'Orange' !! On better inspection having cleaned it up I found the 'orange' was INSIDE the Pentaprism-- maybe tobacco smoke but there was no 'smell'. The LENS had some dust inside but good otherwise. I found a 2CR5 Battery and it all works. There was NO Lens cap so i will have to find a large one.

Rip the guts out, dismantle the lens and shove a lamp in the resulting hole.
I would have loved to have been able to make the shutter button the light switch!

I'll happily gut it for you, but it's best I leave the electrical bits to you or a competent person (I consider myself competent but not qualified.)
The lens I had was just the right size, diameter wise, to accept the lamp. I used a standard kitchen down lighter type at mains voltage to avoid having to use a transformer (Common sense suggests that a 12 volt unit and transformer would be the safer option!)
Also when you dismantle the lens it is rare to be able to rebuild the caseing without glue and screws and stuff!
