By now you'll know that Spcomp, Hutch93 (will he ever pst his pics?), Matt Sayle and myself went to this rally. Matt was struggling with a hang over (bet he has a drink again). I was just struggling to get on with getting pics. I even though I lost the memory card when it failed to read. Anyway heres my poor efferts.

I quite like no 3, perhaps an idea to work on for next time, but you're right, none of them really stand out, the sideways Escort may look better in B/W to lose the green jackets
 
sorry if this sounds harsh but none are sharp, the composition in #4 is good and that's about all i can say on a positive note. The IQ of these for a 1d4 and 2.8 glass is frankly shocking

Look at the shutter speed and you'll see its user error. :puke:

wack61 will have a look at converting the escort to black and white. As for pic 3 surprised it looks that good since its a big crop.
 
What about something like this for number 6?

It keeps the colour of the car, but loses the bright colour jackets in the background.

It's the first time I've tried this technique, so probably look better done properly and with the original file.
Oh, and I know it's not to everyone's taste.
 
It definitely looks better without the jackets, the sherpa van in the background makes it look 1970s now :LOL:
