Ok, so I know we shouldn't make fun of Canon....

Oh lordy! :cuckoo::shrug::bang::bonk::lol:

Maybe it's a bit sturdier, so it can actually survive in harsher environments where Nikons thrive...

PMSL....:lol:

concidering the guy is probably a national hero

Sure, Jackie Chan is awesome, but he isn't gonna make me want to pay nearly double for a camera with his name on it (regardless of brand).

I pretty sure that camera is aimed at the Asian market....where Jackie Chan is worshipped, and where cheesy products like this sell like hot-cakes!!

I seriously doubt it's aimed at us brits....:shrug:

Ok, let's relate it to Brits then...

A Stephen Fry branded 550D, who'd pay extra? and how much extra? ;)

You're talking about a completely different culture, and whatever you think about that camera, I bet it sells/sold out instantly!!

No way would that happen here, whatever celeb you associated with it....:nono:

If everytime you pressed the shutter button it put out one of his catchphrases from Blackadder or a Bit of Fry and Laurie then I would buy one. Honestly... ;)

:shrug: Are they going down the same route as VW sticking their badge on a Skoda?? ..... :exit:

Does it kick ass though?

there'll always be someone willing to pay out for "unique" (or limited run) items like this. especially in the east where they love this guy.

Not that I'm a Jackie Chan fan, or that I like it, but if had been a Nikon limited edition I'd have bought it :D
