a bit of a sad day today...i smashed my nifty fifty.... :crying: :crying: :crying:

todays shot was supposed to be taken with the nifty (doing alternate days) so will take two days in a row with the macro and two days with my new nifty (when it arrives tomorrow!)

bear with me...10, 11 and 12 available soon :)
 
Took the camera with nifty fifty attached out with me to capture 12...

Placed camera down but somehow misjudgd the edge of the table, the camera fell forward and landed on the lens...camera survived, unlike the nifty fifty.

He was a good lens....RIP
 
Oh no what rotten luck - was it insured :shrug:.

well it was insured under household contents, but not worth claiming...have ordered a new one...will arrive tomorrow :)
