Old camera's

I dont know much about old camera's (being that im only a baby and digital was around) and was wondering if someone could answer a question for me?

I have a Canon EOS 500D and i have been offered all of the below from an old photographer friend of my dads and i wanted to know if any of it would be any good for me and my camera (will it fit and work)??

2 Canon AE1 bodies 1 in perfect working order good condition, the other is not.

I'm not going to go through your list item by item, because I think the gear is all linked to the AE bodies. These were discontinued in the mid 1980s IIRC, and had the FD lens mount (some of the lenses you mention are shown as FD). This isn't compatible with the current EOS system, and the lenses won't fit or work with your 500D. Canon did make a couple of adapters years ago, but these are expensive and difficult to find now. There are some third party adapters, with optics to preserve infinity focus and without, but I don't know if they're any good. The rest of the accesories are for the AE cameras and won't be much use to you on your 500D, but you might be able to use the Skylight and ND filters, if they fit any of your modern lenses, and you really want to though.

If I were you, I'd just buy a film, load the working body and try it out. These were decent cameras in their day, and they're easy enough to use.
