Cracking detail Alby. Those mouth parts are well weird.

Superb Alby (y) gotta agree with Paul though, weird indeed.

Great shots as always but I couldn't look for too long... crane flies creep my out

might be a silly question, but how do you get the background to be black?

great photo by the way

Stonking as ever Alb...

Although I did think you had captured me somehow... :cautious: ...going by the title... :naughty:

:p

Thanks All, much appreciate all your comments ;)

It is just the flash fall off, the shutter being to fast for the ambient light and the object lit by the flash is in the foreground.

Yep I'm sure there is a little of you in them eyes Ven

Thats stunning, great macros as always
Thanks Trev ;)
Looks like he's getting ready to hit you with his leg hahahaha! :D

Excellent detail and may i ask if this was caught on a tripod or hand held?
Thanks Danny, all my shots of insects are hand held as tripods just get in the way to be honest. I do use a monopod sometimes though but not very often.

WOW factor! What lens did you use on these?

More stunning work Alby (y) The detail is amazing!
