old lenses

Hi I wonder if any can help I've got a lumix g10k and I've been given four old slr lenses of different sizes all with m42 thread they all have manual and auto switches on plus there in mint condition the question is can I use them on my lumix body if so what type of adapter do I need and will it affect the quality of the photo or should I try and sell them and put it towards the right lens for my camera

Look on ebay for M42 to Micro 4/3 adapter, there are loads to choose from at cheap prices. I have bought quite a few for different lenses and they have all been great!

Thanks Andy I've just had a look around £20 that's saved me a lot of money I presume everything is manual no auto focus etc also it looks like the pin on the lens is permanently pushed in when the adapter is fitted is that right

If the adaptor hold the aperture pin to one side then you won't be able to stop down at all.
