I have an old Sunpak 3000 speedlight that is manually adjustable for the strength of the flash. I use a wireless trigger on it and it's perfect for on-location lighting. They go for next to nothing on Ebay but rarely appear. What other old flash units have manually adjustments on them that I can keep an eye out for?

I have an old Vivitar 283 (old style, not new) that I picked up for a tenner in an antique shop. It works well, fairly powerful, but it's chuffing huge. Very rarely used now since I bought my studio flashes though.
 
No it didn't, but it has the socket on it for one.
 
On a 283 you need to replace the sensor (just plugs in) for a manual adjuster, unfortunately, these are like rocking horse manure, I've been after one for ages, with no success.
