Hi,
I've been fortunate enough to attend a few different events - gymnastics, swimming and canoe slalom (which actually, I must say, was the best of the lot despite me not even realizing it was a sport let alone an Olympic one).
Apart from the sports I've also been ogling at the gear carried around by the press in the Photo jackets. In terms of numbers, I don't think it would be an exaggeration to say that it appears that the overwhelming majority at the three venus above seemed to use Canon gear (on account of the enormous grey barrels of the L lenses).
Being a Nikon man myself, should I read this as a preference for professional sports photographers?
Any thoughts?
